Located on the Sunshine Coast, Siena Catholic College is a well-established and highly regarded educational facility. The Administration Building plays a central role in supporting staff, students and visitors in their day-today operations.
BAMSS was engaged to supply, install and commission extensions to the existing Alarm System, CCTV Surveillance System and Public Address (PA) System within the Administration Building, ensuring seamless integration with the College’s existing infrastructure.
Our Solution
BAMSS delivered a carefully integrated upgrade and extension of the College’s security and communication systems. The scope included extending the existing intruder alarm system to accommodate building modifications, expanding CCTV coverage through additional cameras integrated into the current surveillance platform, and extending and commissioning the PA system to ensure reliable and consistent audio coverage.
During the works, our team identified underlying design limitations and performance issues within elements of the legacy systems. Rather than simply completing the specified extensions, BAMSS worked collaboratively with the College and builder to review system architecture, rectify faults, optimise configuration and improve overall reliability.
All systems were fully tested and commissioned to ensure operational efficiency and compliance, with minimal disruption to the College’s daily activities. The result is a stronger, more robust and future-ready security and communication environment that enhances system stability, improves performance across Alarm, CCTV and PA platforms, and provides the College with long-term confidence and peace of mind.
