Located in the heart of Cleveland, Sorrento is Vacenti’s newest flagship aged care residence — a luxury, five-storey mixed-use development featuring residential aged care, retail spaces, and commercial facilities. Designed to provide the highest levels of permanent, respite, and palliative care, Sorrento combines comfort, independence, and community in a purpose-built environment. The facility includes private suites with ensuites and kitchenettes, communal lounges, landscaped gardens, rooftop spaces, and secure basement and ground-level car parking.
BAMSS was selected to design, supply, and install a fully integrated, state-of-the-art security system across the entire Sorrento development. Our scope of works included the installation of approximately 200 access-controlled doors, 200 high-definition surveillance cameras, and a comprehensive IP-based intercom system. These systems were seamlessly integrated to meet the security needs of all stakeholders — aged care staff and residents, retail tenants, commercial operators, and visitors.
Our security solution utilised the latest technology, allowing for high-level integration across building systems. The system was future-proofed to support expansion and remote monitoring, and includes RAID 5 redundancy for video storage reliability. All components are managed through a centralised, easy-to-use interface for staff and facility management.
Working directly with the builder and client, BAMSS delivered the project on time and within budget.
